political turf – in the district of her extramarital romantic partner, Todd
Courser.
Gamrat, who was hit with expulsion in the House last month and
seeks to win her seat back, is holding a bowling event in Almont, which is
within the 80th District that Courser represented until he resigned
in disgrace due to the sex scandal that snagged Courser and Gamrat. The
location is about 20 miles from Courser’s home base of Lapeer.

confirmed a fundraiser is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Sunday. I’m told second-hand through
a source that a separate call to the bowling alley indicated specifically that
the event is for Gamrat.
in the cards that Courser would show up for this event to support her? Did he help Gamrat
organize the event?
Both ex-reps have said they are in counseling to repair
their respective marriages, so choosing the Almont location as a place to “have
a blast” with Gamrat is strange on so many levels.
The two tea party politicians also admitted, near the end
of their brief service in the House, that their unusual shared-staffing situation
was a mistake. Courser and Gamrat had been sharing staff to handle both offices
though the two lawmakers represented constituents on opposite sides of the
state.
District will think about her seeking to raise campaign cash in Courser
territory. It can’t be a money issue, as the ticket price is only $15 – and that
includes three free games.
The event, billed as “Bowling Niight! (sic),” is not
listed on her campaign website.

bowling alley is called … Hideaway Lanes.
Courser/Gamrat affair comes to mind once again: You just can’t make this stuff
