Speaking of jokes, Dennis Miller, who used to be funny, was on the radio this morning talking about how Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker just wants the union workers to “pitch in a little more.” Now, Miller’s a smart guy. He knows that the real issue here is an attempt to eliminate collective bargaining. But he chooses to duck that issue and instead engage in some typical teacher bashing. He suggested that the Wisconsin protests are about to get ugly, in part because of selfish teachers who “get tenure after half a year and probably can’t even pass the tests that they hand out to their students.”
I would have to grade that as Over The Top.
