I’m waiting for the “constitutionalists” out there to converge on Alabama and demand that the governor stop his socialist, tyrannical actions.
Facing a rash of wildfires due to conditions left behind the killer tornadoes of April 27, Gov. Robert Bentley today issued a ban on burning in all 67 counties. How can the government possibly tell citizens that they do not have the right to outdoor burning on their own property? How can that be constitutional?
Bentley issued his decree to address a threat of wildfires that is being stoked by hot, dry weather and a large number of downed trees.
The governor’s action comes after a wildfire in Jefferson County burned hundreds of acres and is expected to continue to burn several more days. The Forestry Commission arrested Kevin Keef, 45, of Adger, in connection with that fire.
I say the constitutionalists take up this banner and demand the release of this man. Relief for Keef!
