Agema thinks that gays live a “filthy” lifestyle; Sears thinks they are the work of the devil.

insiders are so shaken by the prospect of having Agema and Sears as Michigan’s
two representatives on the RNC that they’re growing concerned about two
mainstream Republicans in the three-person field splitting their votes,
thereby allowing Sears to claim victory.

to consist of Ronna Romney-McDaniel, daughter of Ronna Romney, and Sandra Kahn who, I’m told, is the aunt

Sears mayhave some bigoted, far-right views about homosexuality but she has held several
GOP posts, including vice chair of the 1st Congressional District
Republicans.

the “Tea Party Pow Wow,” which was held at the Indian casino in Mount Pleasant.

It's about using your religion to engage in crude and unbecoming actions in your role not as a theologian or religious leader but as a leader of a political party that is legally secular. We shouldn't be looking to politicians for theological or religious doctrine interpretations; that's the job of those in houses of worship.

While claiming religious piety you stand there with stones in your hands ready to cast, given the first opportunity, at LGBT citizens. This is in direct contradiction to the teachings of your own religion. You make a mockery of religion and your "purging" language sounds strikingly reminiscent of the burning of heretics during the middle ages, the Salem witch trials in America and a certain political party in Germany about 80 years ago. You should be kept as far away from government as possible because it is painfully obvious that you have no grasp of religious freedom, don't understand the democratic principles this nation was founded upon and have no capacity to respect any religious and spiritual beliefs other than your own.

You see, we have a First Amendment that guarantees our GOD GIVEN right to free speech and FREEDOM OF RELIGION, not freedom 'from' religion. Therefore, people who are not religious waive that right because there is no guarantees, no recognized right, to be insulated from religion, nor for the state to advance nor promote any anti-religious positions as somehow being a practice of a religion. This means, if you are unreligious or stand against religion, you have made yourself have less rights than the rest of us.
