At the Gratiot Avenue Business Association luncheon today in Clinton Township, Matthew Moroun gave his sales pitch for a second span to the Ambassador Bridge – and he also talked about a third bridge.
Moroun, son of bridge owner Matty Moroun, said his family still has long-term plans to possibly build a bridge to Harsen’s Island, presumably from Algonac. “We’d love to do it. We’re still hoping to do it,” he said. “But, as the economy has changed, it’s been shelved.”
