The Romeo Area Tea Party’s recommended reading list includes a new book by Steven F. Hayward of the American Enterprise Institute, “The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Presidents: From Wilson to Obama.”
In particular, the RATP website is calling attention to Hayward’s ranking and report card of the U.S. presidents from 1920 forward.
Phil Dyer, RATP communications chief, wrote: “We all have our favorite presidents, but I think a lot of times we base that judgment upon their personality and charisma.  This report card bases it upon their performance in upholding the Constitution. 
“…In my opinion, we need to recover that ‘modest’ role for the president.  We don’t need a king, we need a leader who upholds the Constitution.”
