TV preacher Pat Robertson now claims that God revealed to him who will be the next president of the United States — but he’s not going to tell.
“I think he showed me about the next president, but I’m not supposed to talk about that so I’ll leave you in the dark — probably just as well — but I think I know who it’s gonna be,” Robertson said during Tuesday’s installment of the 700 Club.
According to The Huffington Post, he also called on viewers to pray and told them God warned him of an upcoming period of stress and peril — an economic collapse that the world has been “bringing on themselves.”
The Christian Right leader and former GOP presidential candidate is known for his controversial quotes on politics, culture and natural disasters.
In the fall, Robertson said that the 2012 GOP candidates were getting too radical to have a chance in the general election.
“You appeal to the narrow base, and they’ll applaud the daylights out of what you’re saying, and then you hit the general election and they say ‘no way,’” he said in October, perhaps reflecting on lessons learned during his brief bid for the party’s nomination in 1988.

The man is a fraud. Experience, observations, and some math will quickly get you to the fact that the GOP candidates are not going anywhere because of their radicalism. That isn't even news.
