Is Snyder’s honeymoon over?

Democratic political consultant Joe DiSano made his disdain for Rick Snyder plain long ago. But DiSano offers some astute observations about the governor today on Facebook.

He said: “The real problem for Snyder isn’t that the honeymoon would end. The real problem is Snyder is wasting the honeymoon on things that won’t pass. A politician needs to protect his or her popularity and use it on the possible. Taxing private pensions is a fools errand. So now Snyder has no popularity and no accomplishment to show for it. He is weakened politically and the Legislature has no reason to fear him.”
