State Rep. Harold Haugh, a Roseville Democrat, will hold a town hall meeting on Saturday, May 7, to discuss the state’s budget crisis and the ongoing budget negotiations in Lansing.
Haugh will discuss how Gov. Rick Snyder’s budget proposal will affect K-12 schools, local government and the economy. The revised version of the governor’s proposed tax on pensions will also be discussed.
Residents who attend will be free to ask questions and make comments.
The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Roseville City Hall’s Erin Auditorium, 29777 Gratiot, at Common Road.
