There are so many embarrassing moments surrounding the prank phone call placed to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, it’s hard to pinpoint just one or two.
Walker, who thought he was chatting with billionaire David Koch, not only trashed his Democratic foes in the state Senate, he said he had considered “planting troublemakers” in the crowd of pro-union protesters. Walker has tried to brush that remark aside, but Madison Police Chief Noble Wray said it was a “troubling” admission that deserves further explanation.
During the phony call, with a blogger playing the part of Koch, the two also commented on how Mika Brezinski, co-host of “Morning Joe” on MSNBC. Walker and the pseudo-Koch talk admiringly about what a “piece of a@@” Brezinski is.
No response yet from Brezinski. Some might say that Walker is the a@@ in this story.
