Earlier today, Ted Cruz floated the possibility of resurrecting his presidential campaign if he wins tonight in the Nebraska Republican primary.
According to The Hill, Cruz said on Glenn Beck’s radio show that, he does not expect to win in Nebraska but he’s leaving the door open to re-entering the race one week after he exited.
“We launched this campaign intending to win. The reason we suspended our campaign was that with the Indiana loss, I felt there was no path to victory,” he said.
“If that changes, we will certainly respond accordingly.”
Cruz has avoided supporting the presumptive nominee, Donald Trump, and said he has plenty of time to decide whether to issue an endorsement.
