Republican National Committeeman Dave Agema, the Michigan GOP’s
resident bigot, has praised Donald Trump for his plan to keep Muslims out of
the United States.
Agema, best known for his racist, homophobic and Islamophobic
statements on Facebook, went online recently to declare that the Republican
presidential frontrunner is on the right path by labeling Muslims as a national security
risk. The west Michigan former state representative followed that up with a
text message to MLive:

correctness and getting votes.
“Trump proves people are hearing what they’ve been thinking and many agree with him.
I’m glad he’s in the race to bring those issues forward. These are security

“Trump’s campaign is doing its own thing,” said John
Inhulsen, county party chairman. “The Kent GOP is not involved in

Republicans going to this event. There’s a lot of interested people, people who
want to say they were there, people interested in pop culture. That’s the kind
of guy he is. He’s a celebrity.”
