So, it appears former Macomb County clerk Karen Spranger is not willing to pass into that dark space where she is simply remembered as an incompetent, incoherent ex-official who was removed from office.
Her latest ploy is to call on President Trump (or Gov. Rick Snyder) to send in the National Guard to protect her from an unconstitutional rebellion among the county’s judges and top officials. Spranger, based on lies about her residency, was successfully booted from her clerk’s post and the 14 Circuit Court judges will replace her in a matter of days.

In a document filed this week in federal court seeking a reprieve, Spranger and her new attorney, known as a crackpot on some Internet websites (more on that later), claim that she is the victim of an insurrection, a mutiny against the Macomb County voters.
Assuming the president does not want to stretch our military too thin, I fancifully wonder, could it be that Trump has a decision to make: Deploy the National Guard in Mount Clemens to save the delusional ex-clerk under siege, or send Guard troops to the Mexican border.
Imagine Guardsmen, bayonets displayed on their military weapons — reverse George Wallace-style — surrounding the county building that served as Spranger’s domain and escorting her back to her former office.
Within the surreal politics of 2018, this is a choice, presumably, only in the jumbled mind of Spranger. But, who knows? Maybe Trump is conflicted.
After all, The Donald for years has gravitated toward conspiracy theories and oddball characters. He may view Spranger as a victim of government tyranny in the Michigan county that played a key role in making him president.
The GOP clerk recently claimed that, after she wrote letters to him, Trump was ready to take action to save her. Her deputy clerk at the time, the equally delusional Jackie Ryan, told the media that federal marshals would be arriving on the scene shortly to protect her boss.
All of this is nonsense, of course. The 11-page document Spranger and her lawyer presented in federal court this week was called something “worthy of a Marx brothers movie” by the county’s top legal counsel and “nonsensical … gibberish” by County Executive Mark Hackel.
Yet, Trump has shown delight in trashing the courts and the justice system, so maybe he will want to make Spranger a martyr in one of his upcoming tweets. Perhaps the president will latch onto the Republican clerk’s claims of “rogue county agents” – supposedly the Democrats’ “Deep State” at the local level – plotting to destroy her after her incomprehensible election victory in 2016 as a Trump-like figure.
Of course, that would likely require the president to embrace Spranger’s far-fetched claims that she was trying to clean up corruption in the clerk’s office and expose mishandling of public finances. These wacky charges were raised by the disgraced ex-clerk repeatedly for 15 months against her predecessor, Carmella Sabaugh, who received dozens of national “good government” awards in her 24 years in office.
Still, Trump does not operate on facts and data. He goes with whatever his gut tells him at any particular moment in time. In the end, surely, he will side with sending troops to the Southern border, though he is about 18 years behind the curve on that issue.
Illegal border crossings by Mexicans peaked in 2000 and have decreased by more than 80 percent since then. At this point, border protection is not much of an issue as many undocumented Mexicans are returning home while the number of Border Patrol agents, starting with the Clinton presidency, has jumped by more than 500 percent.
Mexicans accounted for only 15 percent of all new immigrants arriving here in 2013, according to Pew Research, and the share of newcomers who are Latino is at its lowest level in five decades.
Pew informs us that 40 percent of recent immigrant arrivals — legal and illegal — are from Asia, Europe and Canada. Many come to the U.S. on various types of visas and stay beyond their legal limit. To stop this, a border wall is irrelevant.
As a result, Trump’s newest order for deployment of the National Guard to the winding Mexican border is not logical or rational. Maybe, just maybe, Spranger still has a chance to experience a rescue by the modern-day Trump cavalry — at least in her own mixed-up mind.

Spranger had engaged in various conspiracy theories during her reign as a longtime unemployed gadfly prior to her 2016 election as county clerk (which was made possible by Macomb County Republican voters nominating her in the GOP primary over two other candidates).

But her choice of an attorney to represent her in the appeal of her court-ordered dismissal as county clerk reveals that her fantasies may be far more significant than county officials realized.
Spranger is being represented by a character known as Rodney Dale Class, a supposed attorney from North Carolina who harbors an online reputation as a crackpot and makes Spranger look relatively mainstream. Dale (or Class, depending on which moniker he chooses at any particular time) claims that he is a “private attorney general” – a title that obviously does not exist. He also insists that he is a “constitutional bounty hunter” who collects payouts from the federal government by abducting those who act in a manner that is unconstitutional.
It gets worse.
In his bizarre past court fights and in his YouTube rantings, Dale/Class has claimed that the U.S. government is actually a private corporation engaged in widespread corruption. He insists that Congress knew back in 1967 that the constitution had been suspended.
His claims were prominently published by an obscure website known as anticorruptionsociety.com, along with basic conspiracy theories about smart meters, child vaccinations and global climate change. He advocated the idea that the federal Centers for Disease Control is secretly a for-profit corporation, a “rogue institution engaged in the destruction of the health of the American population.”

The website also publishes conspiracies about government studies that raise widely accepted health concerns. That would certainly appeal to Spranger, who has demonstrated strange conclusions about dietary matters. She engaged in a weird sales pitch on healthy eating last year just prior to an exceedingly important meeting on choosing new voting machines that would protect the Macomb election system’s integrity.
In addition, a website that defends Dale/Class against criminal charges filed against him regarding firearms possession in Washington, D.C., embraced the legal-heretic’s paranoid views on the world:
An unscrupulous international banking cartel under the thumb of the Vatican had taken over every function of government in the United States and forgot to tell the people. (And at least 118 other countries worldwide.)
The D.C. case has revealed the dirty little secret (that) the cartel has taken great pains to hide for 100 years. The War Powers Act of 1917 as amended was used by the banking cartel to set the people up for an extortion racket that makes the Mafia look like Sunday school teachers.
We can only imagine what kind of additional deranged chaos Spranger would have imposed if she had remained in office.

One minor quibble to an otherwise accurate article, Rodney Dale Class is not “Judge Dale,” he’s an entirely separate sovereign citizen nutbag. And I don’t even mean the way that when your name is spelled on paper in ALL CAPS it is referring to your straw-man corporate fiction and not the flesh and blood living person (a well traveled sovcit trope) but in this case Rod Class isn’t the same human being as Judge Dale.
Rod Class has lost pretty much all but one of his court cases and one time attempted to appeal a traffic ticket in the state of Ohio all the way up to the US Coast Guard (yea, I can’t figure his reasoning on that either). His one success is not to be hand waved away, it was significant but he used a real Bar association Attorney to secure it which kinda cuts into his sovcit cred on the issue. His blue 14th amendment Bounty Hunter Jeep (you posted the picture above) was found parked in Washington DC with an impressive array of weapons, he lost at trial but did win an appeal on an issue of constitutional merit: A guilty plea, by itself, does not bar a federal criminal defendant from challenging the constitutionality of the statute of conviction on direct appeal.
But again, it must be stated that Mr. Class did not in fact use his own nonsensical legal theories to secure that victory.

5. “The PG&E Satellite Beams Hoax”. THE DOCUMENTS ARE FORGERIES AND THE ALLEGATIONS CONTAINED IN THOSE FORGERIES ARE VERIFIABLY FALSE. PG&E is a California electrical utility company which collects and generates electricity in a variety of ways. But, PG&E’s conventional solar panels can only collect energy from the Sun during the middle of daylight hours. So, in 2009, PG&E announced that in the future it would use solar panels on satellites in space to collect energy from the Sun 24 hours a day, then beam it to earth using lasers or radio frequencies and then convert it to electricity here on earth for its customers. When the recent forest fires burned northern California, Deborah Tavares wanted to blame PG&E and this technology for starting those fires. But, the scientific literature and PG&E’s own documents indicated that this technology did not yet exist. SO, TO REBUT ALL THAT INFORMATION, Deborah Tavares FORGED a series of FAKE emails (purportedly between the CPUC and PG&E) indicating that this technology already existed, that it was already in use and that it could be used to start fires. Thus, Deborah Tavares herself actually created the very FORGERIES which she fraudulently claims CONSTITUTE “PROOF” that PG&E used this technology to ignite the recent fires in California to kill us all in furtherance of the planned extinction of mankind. But, her claims about these FORGED emails are not so. These FORGED EMAILS prove nothing except that Deborah Tavares is a fraud. PG&E may actually be using lasers or radio frequencies beamed from satellites in space to kill us all in furtherance of the planned extinction of mankind. 6. The Genocide Agreement Hoax”. The document is REAL. So, the hoax is NOT the document itself. The “Genocide Agreement” is actually the nickname of a proposed 1940’s United Nations agreement BANNING GENOCIDE among signatory nations. The proposed “Genocide Agreement” DEFINED “GENOCIDE” BROADLY and also banned the displacement of people from their homes. Further, under the proposed “Genocide Agreement”, the United Nations would have the jurisdiction to criminally prosecute and punish individual CITIZENS of signatory nations who violated the terms of the agreement (like the Nuremberg Trials and The Nuremberg Hangings). All nations on earth (including the United States) wanted to ban genocide. But, the United States had concerns about signing the “Genocide Agreement” because of THE OTHER ACTS that it banned and because it delegated to the United Nations the jurisdiction to criminally prosecute and punish American citizens who violated its provisions (like at Nuremberg). Southern states in particular were concerned that the agreement might subject opponents of racial integration to the criminal jurisdiction of the United Nations. Regardless, in the 1980’s the United States signed the “Genocide Agreement”, despite these concerns. So, the hoax is not the document itself. Instead, the hoax is Deborah Tavares’ OWN fraudulent claims that the Genocide Agreement ONLY BANS “NATIONS” FROM COMMITTING ACTS OF GENOCIDE and that THE UNITED STATES IS “NOT A NATION”, BECAUSE “IT IS A CORPORATION” (which is not governed by the agreement or the ban) which permits the United States to commit genocide on a “Day-by-Day” basis, which is why “WE ARE BEING EXTERMINATED”. THE TRUTH: But, the United States is not really a “corporation” and the Genocide Agreement actually bans genocide in the United States and subjects those who commit genocide and displacement to the criminal jurisdiction of the United Nations. 7. “The Judge DALE Hoax”. ALL OF THE “JUDGE DALE FORGERIES” ARE ENTIRELY FAKE. Further, EVERY SINGLE CLAIM MADE IN THE JUDGE DALE FORGERIES IS ALSO ENTIRELY FALSE. Deborah Tavares, Al Whitney (real name “Anita Larin”) and amateur legal theorist, Rodney “DALE” Class wrote every single word of these FORGERIES (including “The Great American Adventure: Secrets Of America” and “The Matrix And The US Constitution”). But, they fraudulently told the American people they were written by a “retired federal judge” named “Judge DALE” which uses Rodney “DALE” Class’ middle name, “DALE”, as an inside joke on the American people. The purpose of this hoax was to make Americans think that their government and their justice system is completely illegal, illegitimate, invalid, corrupt & diabolical and to incite hatred and violence against innocent Americans.
8. “The Court Registry Investment System Hoax”. THE DOCUMENT IS FAKE. Deborah Tavares and her partners assembled this FAKE document from parts of REAL government documents and then ALTERED and CHANGED the WORDS and IMAGES to make it fit the hoax. Deborah Tavares’ fraudulently claims that this FAKE document itself constitutes actual conclusive “proof” that all of the money collected by the courts in fines and penalties is forwarded on to the Federal Reserve. The purpose of this hoax, like the “Judge DALE Hoax” above, was to make Americans think that their justice system is completely illegal, illegitimate, invalid, corrupt & diabolical and to incite hatred and violence against innocent Americans.
9. “The All Governments And Agencies Are Private, For-Profit Corporations Hoax”. This hoax involves several false documents and videos. In this hoax, Deborah Tavares fraudulently claims that all governments and agencies are actually private, for-profit corporations “posing” as governments and agencies which “profit” by taxing, burdening and abusing the American people. To support this claim, Deborah Tavares cites examples of several ORDINARY, PRIVATE, FOR-PROFIT CORPORATIONS which happen to have names that SOUND SIMILAR to the names of governments and agencies (like “Federal Express” for example). But, contrary to her claims, NONE of the ORDINARY, PRIVATE, FOR-PROFIT CORPORATIONS she cites in support of this hoax are really governments or agencies. Not one. Deborah Tavares also fraudulently CHANGES THE REAL NAME of one such ORDINARY, PRIVATE, FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION to a FAKE NAME to make it fit the hoax (from “Internal Revenue Tax And Audit Service, Inc.” to “Internal Revenue Service”). This hoax was designed to make Americans think that all governments and agencies are completely illegal, invalid, illegitimate, corrupt & diabolical and to incite hatred and violence against innocent Americans.
10. “The Rod Class Has Obtained His Forth Administrative Ruling That All Government Agencies Are ‘Private Entities’ Hoax'”. This hoax involves several FAKE press releases (co-authored by Deborah Tavares) and false videos. Note that this hoax was actually created in support of the hoax above to the effect that all governments are private, for-profit corporations (a Deborah Tavares hoax). The purpose of this hoax was to make Americans think that our state and local government agencies (including the DMV and local police departments) are completely illegal, invalid, illegitimate, corrupt & diabolical and to incite hatred and violence against innocent Americans.
11. “The… Property Into Other Peoples’ Name Hoax”. This hoax involves several FAKE press releases and false videos. In this hoax, Rod Class and his partners (including Deborah Tavares) fraudulently claim that “a North Carolina judge has warned all [in-state] police officers to put their property into other peoples’ names” (to make it look like the public can successfully sue police officers personally because they are merely “private contractors” impersonating public servants who issue traffic tickets to generate “profits” for their “corporate employers”). Note that this hoax was actually created in support of the hoax above to the effect that all governments and agencies are private, for-profit corporations (a Deborah Tavares hoax). 12. “The FAKE Jim Traficant Speech Hoax”. This hoax involves a FAKE and FORGED “transcript” of a speech that a Congressman allegedly made to Congress to the effect that our federal government went bankrupt in 1933. The purpose of this hoax was to make Americans think that they themselves are collateral and debt slaves who exist solely to repay international bankers and to make Americans think that our government is completely illegal, illegitimate, invalid, corrupt & diabolical and to incite hatred and violence against innocent Americans.
13. “The Sovereign Citizen Hoax”. This hoax involves a FAKE and FORGED document written by Rodney “DALE” Class while pretending to be “Judge DALE”. This FAKE document was posted on the website of Al Whitney (real name “Anita Larin”) who, like Rod Class, is also Deborah Tavares’ partner in these hoaxes. The purpose of this hoax was to make Americans think that ONLY INDIVIDUALS ARE “SOVEREIGN” and that “WE THE PEOPLE” (a plural term) collectively, as a whole (in the form of our elected government) ARE NOT “SOVEREIGN” (exactly backwards to the truth), such that our laws do not apply to INDIVIDUALS (the pretend “sovereigns”). But, none of this is so. The purpose of this hoax was to make Americans think that “We the PEOPLE” (a plural term) collectively, as a whole (in the form of our elected government) have no right to enforce our own laws, made by our own ELECTED lawmakers, against any INDIVIDUAL and to incite hatred and violence against innocent Americans.
