For the first time since emerging as a likely Republican frontrunner, presidential contender Mitt Romney will make two public appearances in Michigan on Thursday.
First, he will talk with customers at a coney island, a strategy that seems to have become a standard item in all Republicans’ playbook. That event will take place at 8 a.m. at Senate Coney Island restaurant, 34359 Plymouth Road, Livonia.
While the former Massachusetts governor is in Michigan mostly to raise money, his second stop on Thursday will be at Bizdom U in Detroit, a business development center founded by Dan Gilbert to help entrepreneurs with business start-ups.
The tour and roundtable discussion will take place at 9 a.m. at Bizdom U’s Burroughs Street location.
