The Romney campaign is hosting a presidential debate watching party tonight in Livonia.
Michigan does not host a debate before the primary, Romney backers point out, so tonight is the only opportunity to see Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum go at it before Tuesday’s Michigan primary.
The debate will be televised from Mesa, Ariz. (which also votes on Tuesday), at 8 p.m. on CNN.
The pro-Romney party will be hosted by state Attorney General Bill Schuette, Michigan chair for the Romney campaign.
The location is One Under, 35780 5 Mile Rd (between Newbergh and Farmington roads). The party will apparently get started well before the debate does.
