A rally in favor of a Michigan right to work law will be held on Thursday at the state Capitol.
Terry Bowman, leader of Union Conservatives, will be the key speaker at the event on the steps of the Capitol at 9:30 a.m. Michigan Freedom to Work will also participate and among the legislators who will speak in favor of right to work is Sen. Jack Brandenburg, a Harrison Township Republican.
Other participants will be two groups that frequently criticize organized labor — the Mackinac Center of Midland and Americans for Prosperity.
