In an effort to push a non-partisan approach to politics, No Labels Radio emerged on SiriusXM satellite radio a few months ago as an occasional program featuring Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and former Republican governor of Utah Jon Huntsman.
Now the show will become a weekly broadcast hosted by Huntsman, again on SiriusXM’s POTUS channel. Unfortunately, it will air on Saturday mornings, not mid-afternoon on a weekday like the previous program.
Here is the announcement:
Governor Jon Huntsman Launches Weekly Show on SiriusXM

NEW YORK, Oct. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Sirius XM Radio announced today that Jon Huntsman, former governor of Utah and former United States Ambassador to China, will launch No Labels Radio with Jon Huntsman—a
weekly, one-hour show in conjunction with No Labels, the growing
movement of Democrats, Republicans and independents committed to the
politics of problem solving—on SiriusXM P.O.T.U.S., the 24/7
non-partisan channel dedicated to “the Politics of the United States.” Huntsman serves as No Labels’ co-chair.
No Labels Radio with Jon Huntsman will launch on Saturday, October 26 live at 10:00 am ET and air Saturdays from 10:00 — 11:00 am ET

Governor Huntsman will host the show each week, interviewing members of Congress, members of the No Labels Problem Solvers group—more than 85 members of Congress dedicated to holding regular “across the aisle” meetings—and other guests committed to ending gridlock in Washington
and interested in making historic change in the bipartisan dialogue in
our nation’s government.
Listeners are invited to join the conversation by phone calling

“There doesn’t have to be a state of perpetual fighting and gridlock,” said Governor Jon Huntsman.
“We hope to show SiriusXM listeners that there are political leaders in
both parties who are deeply committed to reaching across the aisle,
finding common ground and tackling the nation’s toughest problems.”
“The launch of No Labels Radio with Jon Huntsman
comes at a time when it’s never been more important for Americans from
all backgrounds and their political leaders to come together,” said Scott Greenstein,
President and Chief Content Officer, SiriusXM. “The opportunity for
SiriusXM listeners across the country to personally engage with Governor Huntsman
and other leading problem solvers in this important national
conversation is vital to our nation’s renewal and recovery from the
government shut down and related recent events.”
Encore presentations of No Labels Radio with Jon Huntsman will air October 26 at 6:00 pm, October 27 at 2:00 am and 2:00 pm and October 28 at 3:00 am ET.

I ascribe to much of what the Tea Party states are their objectives; free markets, reasonable deficits and a government of the people and for the people. It is some of their actions that I object to and the movement was allowed to be taken over by unscrupulous individuals for their own self interest and this includes the Koch Brothers and Rupert Murdoch Further, a part of this group are bigots who cannot stand having a black man as President.
"Millions of dollars have flowed in from corporations and rich donors, all of whom have their own ideas about what the tea party should be. This struggle for the soul of the movement has left many of its original activists facing agonizing decisions: Do they, should they, still belong?" Washington Post 12/31/10
From 1968 until 2008 I voted Republican in every presidential election. In 2008 I was ready to vote for John McCain until he nominated Sarah Pail as his running mate. I did not want her so close to the nuke button. In 2012 Obama did not win the election. The Republican party, including the Tea Party, gave him the election. Just look at their primary candidates; Bachmann Gingrich, Romney, Cain, Santorum, Perry, Paul and Huntsman. Huntsman was the only candidate worthy of consideration and he was shunned.
We have a debt problem that was created over a thirty year period and if it is going to be solved in a manner that does not destroy the country it will take fifteen to twenty years. The Tea Party's clamoring for a quick fix is similar to the beliefs of the medical profession until the 19th century when it promoted bloodletting, the withdrawal of often small quantities of blood from a patient to cure or prevent illness and disease. Most often the cure was worse than the decease or illness.
Here is what we must do and Obama, as our President, must implement. If he does not he has failed. China is breathing down our economic necks…. http://j.mp/Pep-1
