The third anonymously posted video of 71-year-old Warren Mayor James Fouts
and his 27-year-old well-paid secretary, Amanda Mika, is a bit of a
disappointment.The use of music (Hall and Oates again) and the snarky
use of quick sound bites is amusing. But there is no new video here of the two
of them together. The shot of Mika tossing her hair like a red-carpet starlet
is nearly over the top. And the production is again abysmal – blurry and grainy
throughout.

I would give it 2 ½ stars out of five. This sequel clearly
does not live up to the previous two videos.

One clever portion of Part III is the sudden insertion of
a clip from President Obama’s State of the Union:  There is no place for “workplace policies
that belong in a ‘Mad Men’ episode.”

As “Rich Girl” offers the musical backdrop (“you can rely
on the old man’s money”) the video points out that even Detroit has an ethics
policy that bans fraternization between city officials and subordinates. Fouts’
prior position as a bomb-throwing, belligerent councilman – that the city
deserves an administration with the highest ethics – is played prominent. And
the city council is appropriately hammered for killing an ethics policy earlier
this week by a 4-3 vote.

They are called a “rubber stamp” council and it seems
clear that those four council members who have adopted a CFA policy (Cover
Fouts’ A–) should have a tough time winning re-election in 2015.

The mayor was also not pleased with Part III. He told the
media that the newest video amounts to “political terrorism.”

Such strong words. Of course, Fouts is the same guy who
in 2011 called an anonymous flyer circulating in the city despicable because it
claimed that he and Mika were dating. At that time, he offered a $5,000 reward
for anyone who could pinpoint the author of the flyer.
This time around – no rewards
posted. Given the foul language Fouts has used infamously in the past, he could
have put up “dead or alive” posters and no one would have flinched.

But, no reward at all. Maybe the feeble mayor is putting
all of his money into that posthumous political enemies account, in which he
promises to fund attack ads against his foes from the grave.
