All I can say about this is … Wow.
The Arab Spring continues to disappoint, week after week,
month after month. Not that I would be unhappy to see Morsi go – at the hands
of his own people – but it is sad that the premier Arab nation holds its first
real election in its thousands of years of existence and it all crumbles to
pieces one year later.

under way on Wednesday after an army deadline for the Islamist leader to yield
to street protests passed without any agreement.

entire senior leadership of his Muslim Brotherhood were banned from leaving the
