Sen. Bernie Sanders brings his struggling presidential campaign to Macomb County on Saturday, where he will appear at the same venue where Republican Donald Trump packed in 4,000 supporters this morning.

Sanders will speak at the Macomb Community College Expo Center in Warren, 14500 12 Mile Road, at Hayes Road, at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m.

The Vermont Democrat trailed Hillary Clinton by a 61-33 percent margin a statewide poll conducted Tuesday by Fox2 News and Mitchell Communications. In seven statewide polls taken in February, the senator never notched more than 40 percent.

Sanders will be the fourth presidential candidate to campaign in Macomb County in as many days. On Wednesday, Ohio Gov. John Kasich appeared in Warren and Sen. Marco Rubio stumped in Shelby Township.
